There have been great advances in our understanding of biology in recent times, but yet this knowledge has yet to fulfil its promise of new pharmaceutical treatments for unmet medical needs. Singh Consultancy focuses on a key step in the drug discovery value chain: the establishment of assays to screen compounds for biological activity. Although there has rightly been great emphasis on identifying validated biological targets and improving the properties of chemical collections that are screened for pharmaceutical activity, the importance of design of the assays in which these compounds first encounter the target is often overlooked. It is this key step where Singh Consultancy can provide you with valuable experience and advice. The Consultancy also offers tuition in Maths and Science subjects (namely; Biology, Chemistry and Physics), for GCSE, AS and A2 students.
