AccelLAB Inc. AccelLAB is a Montreal-based preclinical CRO that provides high-quality product safety and efficacy studies for the evaluation of medical devices from the Orthopedic, Regenerative Medicine and Cardiology fields. In life services are provided from proof of concept to regulatory submission in a GLP environment. Evaluation services include study/protocol design and on-site surgeries performed in a fully functional hybrid operating room equipped with Live CT. Implantation is followed by necropsy, histology, histomorphometry, histopathology, state-of-the-art imaging, hematology and blood biochemistry. Imaging modalities include MRI, high-definition radiography, Micro CT and whole-body CT. Full histopathology and histomorphometry reports are provided by experienced veterinary pathologists. These services are cost-effective and applicable to different tissues/biomaterials, such as bone (non-decalcified and decalcified), metallic/polymeric/ceramic implants, bone substitutes and joints. AccelLAB received a Full Accreditation from both AAALAC International and CCAC. Preclinical services are GLP compliant.
