The firm was established as a limited company in April 2005, and draws on the skills and experience of its founder, Martin Comberbach, to provide an individual and high quality service to clients. Martin received his BSc & PhD in Biochemistry/Biochemical Engineering from the University of Manchester UMIST, UK and his MSc/Diploma in Biochemical Engineering from University College London, UK. After 2 post docs in North America, he worked in positions of increasing responsibility at Allelix Inc, GlaxoSmithKline plc, Metris Therapeutics Ltd & GeneMedix plc. At GSK he managed vaccine fermentation process development for 7 years before being promoted to manage the design/build/operations of a new €12 million vaccine manufacturing facility. At Metris Therapeutics Ltd, he directed R&D operations before managing the manufacture of a soluble VEGF receptor for clinical trials. At GeneMedix plc, he directed the GMP manufacturing of therapeutic biological products in Asia.
